Rarely a birth of a food “vessel” could be traced back to its origin, place, time and inventor. Not so for the Conopizza savory Cones, the brainchild of renowned chef and food designer Nir Adar, whose expertise, culinary innovations, and non-conformist approach have been called upon by such companies as Haagen-Dazs, Dunkin Brand, Nestle and Kraft foods.
Nir Adar has been working in the food industry for the last 20 years, he is a New York based Chef, Food Artist and a Food Trend Expert. His passion for food and innovation led him to New York where his artistic vision together with his classic culinary training shaped his unique approach to food, today he create his art alongside his commercial work.
Many of his conceptual pieces have been featured in gallery shows, hung in restaurants, hotels and homes, placed on dozens of magazine covers and have been featured in articles for "Food Arts Magazine”, "The New York Times”, "New York Magazine” and various international publications in Europe and Asia. His work varies from recipe development to conceptualizing new products or styling stunning images to be used in national advertising campaigns.
However, his biggest claim to fame is thinking outside of the box. For the last 5 years, he’s been working on his new line of portable foods; called ‘The future of tradition’ the first such product is the Conopizza. The Conopizza will provide the much-needed advance in food preparation and containment, marrying a familiar shape, modern cuisine and the needs of the contemporary on-the-go consumer.
